Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

In class we have been doing team building games to improve our communication and teamwork. We have played all sorts of games and had great fun.
One game we did was human knot. It was really difficult trying to untangle ourselves from each but we had a lot of fun problem solving to find a way out.
We also did the hula-hoop chain and had to work together to move the hoop around everyone. We are all much better communicators now and have learnt a lot about each other during these games.

I really like your blog post about “Teamwork makes the dreamwork” because you have added very interesting photos of you guys and it looks like your classroom is having an amazing time. Something I also like about your blog is because sometimes in Te Ngahere we do team building and taskmaster too.
Has your communication and teamwork improved?

  2. Kia ora Te Maunga, this is Angela from Te Ngahere. I like your blog post about “Teamwork Makes The Dream Work” because you have explained what team building activities you did and added some photos of you all doing the activities. I remember when my class did the hula-hoop activity and the human knot that the second bus did with Gina. What other team building activities would you like to try in the future?
    Bye Bye!

  7. Kia Ora Te Maunga, my name is Jade from Te Ngahere. I really like your blog post about Teamwork Makes The Dreamwork and that is very true. I really like when you tried to make the hula hoop go over everyone and trying to not let go of your hands it made me laugh. We had to try it but we had two lines and we had to race the other line and we won but the other team had four more players then we did so me and some of other my classmates had to be the other four. I have a challenge for all of Te Maunga so I want you to get a mat or a tarpaulin and try and get the mat or tarpaulin to flip over without anyone touching the ground, will you accept the challenge?

The challenge you guys tried in this post looked so interesting because you guys even got to use a hoola hoop for one of them. Te Ngahere have also been trying out challenges similar to this but they are called Taskmaster challenges and they are supposed to help us work better in a group.
