In Te Maunga we had an Easter auction. We have been working hard in class to earn Class Dollars to spend on our first auction for the year.
Our teachers got all sorts of goodies for us to buy. We sat down in class after lunch with our little slips of paper ready to place our bids on all the exciting things we liked the look of.
By the end of it all some people had gone home with a great haul of goodies. In the end we had a lot of fun, won a few things and learnt that hard work really does pay off.
Kia ora Te Maunga, my name is Mikaila and I am a year 8 student in Te Ngahere. I liked your class blog post about your “highest bidder” because when your class was doing it some students and I were in your class doing our work, I was able to watch some students walk out the door with joy and full of happiness. I know for a fact that our class has something in common because your class and my class earn class dollars but with banqer bucks. I hope you know, that you have a spelling mistake, your spelling mistake you made was earn because you spelt it ear. I’m just wondering but did every student bid at least 1 thing?
